An enemy is a person whose story we have not heard

An enemy is a person that we hate and not like, but it is also someone, whose life and background we don't know. Most of the people have enemies. It can be political and even personal. For example someone that did you wrong or did something that hurt you, but maybe this enemy has his reasons why he is that mean or said something against you. Maybe the enemy has problems at home or just another opinion about things. An enemy can also be someone you are jealous of. For example your enemy always gets what you want, but you can see it wrong. If this happens at work and they always for example transfer "your enemy" to a higher spot you can get jealous and think he is your enemy even though he is just doing his work very good, maybe better than you.
What I think is when people have a problem and you only know your side of the situation, it would be a good idea to know his side or opinion too. We have to try to talk to each other, so there will be no violence or hating in between.

  1. I agree with this post, but if you think about it anyone can be your enemy. You don't necessary need to know them or even do any harm to do them and some people would still consider you as an enemy. In this situation, the reason is usually jealousy like you stated. Human beings can be really selfish therefore jealousy increases because they always want the best for themselves. They mainly start disliking others or even hating others in order to make themselves feel a little better for their failures.

  2. I totally agree with your idea of making enemies out of envy. Sometimes we believe that other people do things to bother us or to make our lives more difficult but we are actually just being selfish. Everybody has reasons for doing the things they do, although they do not justify our actions, maybe they will bring a different perspective to everyone else.
